Please read the instructions carefully.

A whole blog post dedicated to Angel ;)

How my friend made the top of her burger bun (frame)

How to create the frame. CLICK IT

1) Create a base strip by taping a strip of cardboard (Around 1 inch wide) on each of its ends.

2) Create several strips of the same width and curve them (Instructions for curving are below).

3) Tape the curved strips to the base strips, and in doing so, create a criss cross pattern.

And after that, you cover it in gum tape. Put as much as you want. You can layer it. Or if gum tape isn't available, use glue and bond paper (it's up to you on how you want to cut the bond paper). After it's all dry, paint it with the desired color. :D

How we curved the strips of cardboard

1) Get the materials: You, a table (or any flat surface with an edge), two hands and your strip of cardboard.

2) Take one end of the strip and put it on the table, leaving around an inch of the strip exposed to the edge.(Fail illustration, should've made the strip that the right hand is holding up shorter). Anyway, place your hand on the strip at the edge of the table and hold it firmly in place.

3) Pull it upwards at a 45 degree angle (or higher, if you want). Make sure that your left hand which is on the table does not lift. PRESS IT FIRMLY. >w< Keep pulling until you reach the end of the strip. Also, maintain the approximate angle that you're pulling the strip on.

Alternative: Instead of pulling upwards, you can pull it downwards at an angle so that the table does the work instead of the edge of your hand. (You might get burned from the friction XD jk, but it could happen.) If you don't want that to happen, you could place a book between your left hand and the strip which is on the table (So many unnecessary words).

4) You now have a floating strip of cardboard that shines.

xD (Results may vary. Unless you put shiny paper on the strip and tied it to a piece of string tied to the ceiling, it may not float nor shine and you'll just have a curved strip of cardboard. But that's what we're aiming for, aren't we?)

Close up hamburger:

If you look closely, you can see the base strip on the top bun and the criss cross pattern (plus some sesame seeds). You can also see the ends of the base strip that overlap each other.

Fail glass. It's wonky!

In this picture, you can see the strips of cardboard I used for my glass :D

Some notes before I end this post:

LOL I AM SO SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY ILLUSTRATIONS OTL I was using my netbook and I didn't have a mouse so I could only use my trackpad for this. ;w; And I was using the new version of paint which was quite confusing to navigate around. I got used to it afterwards though. (I still like the older version of MSpaint XD)

Hopefully my instructions were clear and understandable. ;w;

Anyway, if you have any questions, just post it on my chatbox :D

END.
