Disappointed

I don't really want to rant as much here, but since I don't really have anyone I can talk to regarding this issue without annoying them, I'm using this blog to rant. It's been in my head all afternoon.

Well, let's just say that my friend's older sister left a certain group, and now her family wants NOTHING to do with her. They disowned her and kicked her out of the house. When my friend was talking about it earlier, she was telling us how she was now her ex-sister because she too agrees that her sister deserved it.

Her sister wasn't kicked out of the house AND the group for doing anything irresponsible in my opinion(like drugs, smoking, etc.), but has been kicked out for not conforming to a certain group's beliefs.

When I heard the story, I couldn't believe what they were doing to her sister. All those years of being under her parent's house and being friends with the people in that certain group... all taken away merely because of the fact that she chose to change what she believed in. Everyone in that group, which includes her family and friends, all don't want ANYTHING TO do with her. All her ties with them are cut off just because of that reason.

I'm just feeling so many negative emotions right now. Annoyance, disbelief, shock.... ugh.

I'm not going to say what certain group they are, but you can have a guess at what it is from what I've written down here. (Or is it too vague? lol)

It's just... unbelievable.

I'm glad that I won't have to go through anything like that, considering how awesome my parents are, especially my mom.
