In memory of the mother of a schoolmate.

This night of fun and celebration turned into a night of tragedy and death.

Tonight was the Christmas party. You might not know this, but Dindo Arroyo[an actor] lives in our village. Anyway, we had the party at the park of our village. All was fun. Anyway, first was the children's party, from 6-8pm. Then after that was the presentation from invited guests. They sang Christmas songs. Then afterwards they danced. Then after that, it was ballroom dancing time. First was a couple whom I forgot. In the middle of the dance, tito Dindo Arroyo and his wife also took the dance floor. They didn't finish the dance, only the first couple did.

And here's where the tragic part comes in.

After they left the dance floor [which was the basketball court], I saw tita take her slippers and wear them. I watched the first couple dance a bit more then I glanced at tito and tita. I saw tita like, slowly slide from tito Dindo's arms, as if she were going limp. Then she just melted on the floor. Then people suddenly started gathering around them to assist her. The dancing couple also stopped to assist her. It was a few minutes [probably 1-3 mins] before the ambulance arrived. I heard that she managed to stand up and walk weakly with assistants to the ambulance. So they loaded her in and tito Dindo also came in. And they went away to bring her to the Southern Luzon hospital.


After that...the dancing continued. Then after 2 songs I got bored [because both were old songs] so I went home and left my sis, the maid and my grandma and stayed downstairs to draw for a little while.

After a few more songs that I heard[yes the sound system was SO LOUD I could hear it in my house.], the party stopped. So my grandma, my sis and the maid went home. Then that's when I heard the news, that tita was dead.

..

I heard that she even puked in the van that carried her.

I also heard that their[tito Dindo and his wife] kids still don't know of her death. I'm not sure if they do now, because the last time I asked if they knew [which was like 30 minutes ago(now it's 10:34)

It's really hard. Kung kailan malapit na magpasko at mag bagong taon.

The reason why there is a date and time is because I was told not to spread this. So, I will post this when it is the right time.

Lessons learned from this experience:

-You never know when God will take you, so watch out.

-Whenever you get the chance to tell someone you love them, take it.

-Live every single day as if it was your last day.

-Life is too short; enjoy it while it lasts.

I feel sad for my schoolmate's family. :\ [Nakikiramay. Tita has also done good things for me kasi :\ ]

bold/italicized sentences/words are things that hit me the most, and I think it's probably what the whole family feels.
